Waste wood becomes my new festival sign!

So, I was cycling home the other day when I noticed this old headboard sticking out from a skip, Ideal for my new festival noticeboard!!

  

 

 

 

Step One: Remove any nails or sharp edges, then 'sand down' the old wood varnish.

 

 

Step Two: Apply a single coat of blackboard paint! (A little pot was only £2.99 from my local hardware store).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step Three: Let paint dry for 2 hours, then for a further 8 hours, at room temperature to 'harden off'. A further coat can be applied after 24 hours, if required.
